When I'm all scruffy and stinky and a tad homeless looking, I get a lot more sniffs and have a lot more hair to capture those essences of "pee on lamppost," "something dropped on the sidewalk" and the classic "Eww, what is that?"<BR/><BR/>However, once I've had a bath or been stripped at the groomers (at least they don't yank your hair out!) I get a lot more attention from the 2-leggeds—pats and cuddles and treats and "oh what a cute doggie!"
