Let sleeping dogs lie...

All this hot weather. And thinking about my scientific hypothesis. It's quite exhausting.

Sometimes an old chap just needs to take a break. Don't trip up over me, please.

It's cooling down a bit in SE corner of UK. Dropped to 25C however the clouds have started to grumble and rumble. We don't like that one bit.

Take plenty of rest and stay cool.

Hi Hamish
We are struggling with the heat too - we are going out for our walks later on and then fighting the midges!
Just take it easy - this heat is no good even for us younger dogs!
Finding a cool spot in the house is so important.
Not to worry if Gail trips over you - she should be looking where she is going.
Remember to drink lots of water with your wee dram!
How awful to hear about the two police dogs left in a car!!!!

Wooo! I like your spot, make Mom work a bit to get around you without falling, great choice there. I agree all sleeping dogs should be allowed to sleep, with no paparazzi.

We are doing OK, Hamish, with temps in the 70-80's F. We almost always have a bit of wind blowing off the prairies and that helps too. Our endless rain seems to have ended and that is good!

We are hoping your Andy takes the Wimbledon !

Kisses,
Stella

Usually, we're sweating like mad here in NYC but it's lovely and not too hot --and thank dogness, it didn't rain all day like it has most of June. C'mon over and cool off in NYC!

You look awfully cute sleeping on the stairs (says Mommy.)

Your pal,

Petey

So glad I discovered your blog. I have a Scottie. My question is. I've had two friends from here in teh states go to Scotland. Not a Scottie to be found. Why is that? Plenty of Westies, but no Scotties.

Hamish, I likes to call getting treats without tricks Dinner time. BOL.
Ah, but what do you do about all those jitters in your brain without having stuffs to do? Or does non herding dogs not get those, cos if we not do trainings for a while I get super jittery and start trying to round everyone up and do barkings.
