We've had a lot of wordy posts lately. So today I've decided to give my sore paws a break from typing and show you some photos taken this weekend during a very snowy visit to our cottage on Loch Torridon.
This is the cottage...
And me posing in the front garden.
These are the neighbours. One of them is called 'Gail', which I think is quite funny..
Here is the local communication centre..
And this was our road earlier today..
Part of it is steep, so we had to wait for this vehicle to arrive before we could set off home..
Oh I wish the snow plough man had stopped in bed so we could have stayed longer to enjoy the scenery..
So much nicer than Aberdeen...

Hamish, those are such beautiful pictures.
We wanted to go to Skye but were worried about getting snowed in!
We love the pic of you in the garden - it is perfect. You enhance the scenery.
There is nothing like the north of Scotland, is there!
We wish you could have stayed there too but we know our humans keep talking about jobs and responsibilites.......or something like that!
That is the perfect place for dogs and it looks like you would have plenty of canine company.
love and kisses

Wowwww, that is one beautiful place. It reminds me of my holiday, even though it was nowhere near there. Great photos!

Hammish the Handsome! I'm glad you had a wonderful trip. We have lots of snow here, too, to play in.
That is so cool that you have your own cottage to sneak away to. You look snug and warm in your handsome jacket.

Having stayed at The Torridon the last time we were there, I can heartily confirm the beauty of this heavenly place. Hamish, you are a most lucky fellow to holiday there.
Hamish, such a beautiful place - no wonder you wish you could stay there. Hope those sore footsies feel better soon.

Hello Hamish!
What a lovely place to spend some time, year around!
Does Gail fry you up some liver there so you can enjoy your favorite meal?
I love your red coat and you out in the scenery!
Kisses,
Stella
Great pics there Hamish,
You looked good in your coat and that was funny that one of the neighbors is Gail HA HA.
Guess you had fun out in the snow? I could see your pawprints in the snow, :-)

No kidding, Hamish. Your cottage and the area around it on Loch Torridon are beautiful places. We can just imagine how quiet and calm is must be. We hope you get to spend lots of time there. It has to be good for the soul.

Hamish those photos are stunning. Course would only be nice if they didn't have you in. I would get confused over which one was gail from your neighbours. Now where did you display your parking ticket? Can't see it on you anywhere. Yikes. Didn't get a ticket did you?

She didn't leave you there for all 3 hours did she? BRRRRR. Good thing you had a nice new coat.
The photos of your cottage are beautiful. I thing a nice snuggle in the blankies would be in order and maybe some window perching inside where it's toasty warm.
sniffies,
Bonnie
