On the way down, we stopped to admire the view. But we couldn't stay long as we had to go and dig up some sand too.
So here I am in the sand dunes at Balmedie, helping Gail find some suitable material (it wasn't difficult).
Job done, I was allowed a little run on the beach. But the wind kept blowing sand in my eyes.
So I decided to go for a paddle instead.
All in all a very nice day. I am a lucky chap, aren't I?

Hi Hamish
We agree you are lucky, that looked a great walk. The two leggars prefer not to be out in the wind but its fine for us dogs.
The beach looked great and you certainly enjoyed your little paddle.
We are always moaning to our mutual friends the Dughallmor Beagles that we get jealous of nice beach pictures.
We are going to the beach at Easter - we dont know if we have ever been before! We think all you dogs living near a beach are very lucky indeed.
Have a great day Hamish

YOU Hamish have to be the worlds luckiest dog! What a wonderfull day you've had! I live in an inland count so I was never at the beach before but I have had a little paddle round a few rivers and a canal before! You looked very pretty in those pictures too!=] And of course the best part was that you got to 'DIG!' Lots of sloppy licks,Penny!=]
Wooo! great place for a walkie with a little dip afterward, the best part!
